What does BTS mean?
BTS is one of the most famous K-POP Stars. Recently, they appeal to global young people, scoring Top 10 on Billboard 200.

The group’s name BTS is an acronym for the Korean expression BangTan Sonyeondan(Hangul: 방탄소년단).
BTS = 방(Bang)탄(Tan) 소(So)년(nyeon)단(dan)
So what does “BangTan Sonyeondan(방탄소년단)” mean ?
1. Bang(방) means defense.
It is often used in word of meaning to protect something.The following is an example of the word “Bang(방)” used as a means of defense.

2. Tan(탄) means bullet.
